At its October 31st meeting, the PBA Board of Directors voted unanimously to give $100,000 to the Pennsylvania Foundation for Housing. The gift is intended to provide the Foundation with the financial wherewithal to maintain and expand its mission of training and educating the next generation of builders, contractors and tradespeople in the Keystone State. The Foundation is the primary financial underwriter for PBA’s Endorsed Trade Program. The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. To the extent permitted by law, gifts to the Foundation from both individuals and corporations are tax deductible to the donor. PBA’s gift recognizes the valuable service provided by the Foundation. On behalf of the Foundation, 2020 Foundation President Warren Peter applauded the donation and encouraged all those who support workforce development to make their own gifts to further the mission.
