The 2025 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) Fundamentals and Voluntary Housing Grant Initiative Webinar is now available online. This webinar provides a detailed discussion of the AHP and the voluntary housing grant initiative process, including key scoring and feasibility factors.
The AHP and voluntary housing grant initiative funding round will open June 26, 2025, with approximately $57.5 million and $17.0 million in available funding, respectively. Applications are due by 5 p.m. EDT on Aug. 7, and awards will be announced Dec. 11. Applicants may request up to $1,500,000 per project, $150,000 per unit in funding by submitting an application through AHP Online. Applications that are not awarded under AHP and are located in Delaware, Pennsylvania and West Virginia will be automatically enrolled in the voluntary housing grant initiative pool for consideration. The following resources are also available on the AHP webpage of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh: · Partner Matching – Members and project sponsors looking for a member/sponsor partner for this year’s round can get matching help through the AHP Match Request Form. · Application Assistance* – Project participants may request application assistance from FHLBank staff on topics including eligibility, scoring and feasibility. Application assistance can be requested between April 21 and May 23 and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis until the funding round opens. Requests must be submitted using the AHP Application Assistance Request Form. · Forms and Guides – View forms and guides that can help you submit a 2025 AHP application. Note that financial feasibility workbooks and technical guides to AHP Online will be available on or before June 26. * Please note that project-based application assistance requests related to scoring and feasibility for the 2025 funding round will only be accepted until May 23. After May 23, requests for assistance will be limited to AHP Online technical functionality issues only (e.g., AHP Online login or financial feasibility spreadsheet upload issues).
