Builder of the Year

Media Project Award
PBA recognizes a combination of innovative ideas, creative thinking and an informative approach to the development and distribution of any digital, print, or multi-media project. The best media award is granted to the local home builders association project that reflects these outstanding best practices.

Media Project of the Year – York Builders Association Find A Pro Campaign

The York Builders Association’s Find A Pro Campaign provides a new way to support members and grow their businesses while being a resource for the community. This multi-channel campaign encompasses digital ads, social media, print publications, ads, billboards and more to provide a clear and concise route for consumers to Find A Pro for all their home needs.

Community Service Project Award
PBA is inspired by the fact that so many of our members and locals understand the importance of reaching out and doing positive things in their communities related to the building industry. It is part of PBA’s strategy to establish goodwill and credibility with the consumer audience. That’s why this award category is critical. Nominees can be either a PBA member or a local association.

Community Service Project of the Year – York Builders Association Sensory Room Build at the Children’s Home of York

The Sensory Room Build at the Children’s Home of York brought together several members of the York Builders Association to complete a multi-sensory room and two phone rooms. Using light, colors, sounds and other sensory equipment in the room offers children a place to feel calm and comfortable while reducing agitation and allowing them to self-regulate their behavior.

(York Builders Association Executive Vice President Laurie Lourie accepted both the Media Project of the Year and the Community Service Project of the Year on behalf of the York BA from PBA Awards Chair Frank Thompson.)

Congratulations to all the recipients of the PBA Awards. Nominations for next year will be open in February 2024.
