PBA is proud to announce that a team from on of the schools enrolled in the Endorsed Trade Program was honored with a FIRST PLACE award in the 2021 NAHB Student Competition! The A.W. Beattie Career Center’s Construction Management Program in Allison Park, PA won the award in the Secondary Programs category.
The annual NAHB Student Competition is one of the highlights of the International Builders’ Show (IBS). The competition gives students the opportunity to apply skills learned in the classroom to a real construction company by completing a management project/proposal. Proposals are submitted to a group of construction company executives who act as judges. Due to the ongoing pandemic and school travel restrictions, the 2021 student competition were held virtually.
