The PBA family lost a devoted member on November 16. Jim Pigott, Jr., owner of The Pigott Agency in Mechanicsburg, passed away while attending an industry-related trade show in Toronto, Canada.
Jim was a dedicated longtime member of NAHB, PBA and the HBA of Metropolitan Harrisburg. At his local, he was a Life Director and had served as the Associate Vice President. At PBA, Jim was a Life Director and was the state Associate Vice President from 1989-1999. He was a frequent attendee at the PBA Committee and Board of Directors meetings. He was also very active at the national association level by serving on numerous NAHB committees. Jim was a big supporter of BUILD-PAC and was awarded the NAHB Associate Advocate of BUILD-PAC Award in 2021.
We all thank Jim for his service and devotion to the home building industry. His family will hold a memorial service in December. Please keep Jim’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
